Vision

The vision of the Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Business and Economics UAJY is to become an economics study program with integrity, superior spirit, inclusiveness, and human insight, and able to contribute to a better quality of life through service in the light of truth.


Mission

The mission of the Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Business and Economics UAJY is to contribute to increasing the mastery and application of professional economics that are beneficial to human dignity through superior work on the basis of mastery of theory, analytical tools, skills in economic studies, and soft skills through education, research, and community service, with the spirit of service in the light of truth..


Goals

The objective of the Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Business and Economics UAJY is to produce graduates with integrity, superior spirit, inclusiveness, and human insight, and able to contribute to a better quality of life through service in the light of truth based-on mastery of theory, analytical tools, and skills in economic studies, and soft skills.


Strategic

The strategy implemented to achieve the vision, mission, and objectives of the Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Business and Economics UAJY is to selectively recruit students according to predetermined academic qualifications and carry out a learning process that is supported by competent academic staff, adequate infrastructure, and intensive assistance to optimize students' academic potential in mastering theory, analytical tools, skills in conducting economic studies, utilizing digital technology, and soft skills.


Graduate Profile

The profile of a graduate of the FBE-UAJY Development Economics Study Program is to become an economist, analyst, practitioner, professional worker, and entrepreneur who is able to apply and develop Development Economics for development planning, financial institutions, industry, and project evaluation in Indonesia.

To produce the expected graduates, then the Development Economics Study Program determines the specialization group that is adjusted to the available resources as follows:

  2. Digital Economics
  3. Industrial Economics
  4. Financial Economics and International Trade
